Painted Gorge - Plaster City Sunday 10-16

Recommended Posts

Kick stands up 7am. Meet at Jacumba Shell at 6:30.

Painted gorge single track hill climbs and Plaster City Mud hills and whoops.

May take a ride over to Superstition as well.

Medium to fast pace.

Not a newbie ride.

Hint for track between Jacumba and Ocotillo?

Not really. We're heading straight to Painted Gorge. Shell Station is a good meet up for pre ride coffee, bathroom, and Subway breakfast sandwiches.

The track between Ocotillo and Jacumba is for another time.

Once it cools off so some bikes don't over heat we'll be doing In-Co-Pa to Ocotillo and back the hard way. I'll bring a rope for a few sections for assistance.

Ken,  I might show up with a two stroke. Is range an issue? Are you riding from the shell station? (that's at the bottom of the hill off of interstate 8?)

We're parking up painted gorge in the OHV area.

I have my stock tank with 50 mile or less range.

Just a easy play ride.

Black F150.

Did you happen to find the skid plate close to where I broke my ankles?  I noticed mine was missing when I sold my bike lol.  I'm thinking after the holidays of picking up a 300 2-stroke, braaap braaap

Thanks for coming out to play again.

We rode rocky steep loose single track, whoops and sand washes topped of with Red Feather Burgers.
