Going dual sport riding Sunday 25th

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody, first let me start by saying go team USA!! #MXON!!  I'm new to this site and can't wait to meet some new riders. I know its late but I'm looking for someone to ride with tomorrow. The ride will be 50/50 and pretty easy terrains. Going from Alpine to Sunrise hwy. Exploring Thing Valley rd.

Possibly going to Campo via old hwy80. I know some good dirt in and around Lake Morena. Then through Hauser Canyon on dirt into Potrero and down hwy94. Then back up Lyons Valley rd. Looking to meet up at Shell gas station in Alpine ca. on Alpine blvd. around 9am. Returning around 3pm.

I ride a Klx250s Enduro and consider myself an experienced novice rider. I'm not that fast and I like to look around alot so it won't be a race.  Feel free to reply or just show up. I will arrive at 8:45am and hang till 9:15am. Hope to see you there.

Thanks kawipaul?

G-morning, just took a lap of the yard, with coffee in hand, and made mental notes of the 23 chores I might dive into today, but when I set my coffee on the work bench, I looked over and the DRZ had that look in his eye that said, "what, nice cool crisp morning and no ride, hell, you could be back by late morning" :) before it gets too hot!

So KawiPaul, thanks for posting, but if you change your mind about a 9 start, I am planning a similar loop from Gillespie Field-ish at 6:15 am (headed to Alpine on non-freeway only - just a casual smooth-cruise on Vernon, greenfield, old 8, past casino inn, viejas grade, descanso, guatay, pine valley (ETA 7),  .....etc)  No jammin, just need bike time.  (Black DRZ, white helmet, if you want to jump in when I go by since I am signing off).  Safe ride to you, cheers
