Oracle 195 Posted September 19, 2016 The annual Terry Bennett (RIP) Police Motor Officer Competition is coming up this weekend (practice Friday the 23rd, competition Saturday the 24th) at the Silver Strand in Coronado. If you are looking for something to do, come on down and watch officers from all over the country (and probably Mexico as well), compete in various motorcycle competitions. Last year, a couple SDAR peeps came down and took in the action. This is something kids might enjoy as well. So if you are pro police, come on down and show you support. They're #1 in the 4-man competition and he will be winning the slow ride competition later. No word on the wheelie or stoppie contests... i tried out my knee scooter. It is a timed event and they cannot break a piece of velcroed ribbon that keeps the distance between the two bikes. These two guys went at this for almost a half hour and were borrowing money from their wives to keep doing it.
