Are these ever sold out or can we just show up.

Do they do pie plates or do I need to put numbers on the new bike?

Are you going Sunday morning? I'd like to follow you.

Just show up there is no overbooking.  If you have numbers on great if not he will have them .

we are leaving crack o dawn on sunday morn well almost aiming for 0515-30 at tecate border  that will put us at sign up spot at Hacienda santa veronica easily by 0700-. Im taking truck and videographer, anyone want to caravan I cross no later than 0532 or something around there, PS I wear part of my gear socks and undergear just to make it quicker to suit up on site. we always meet on the right side of road just before the crossing. PM for cell number to confirm. I think this race will be med skill level, higher speeds than most Tecate races in other words more SCORE less Los Ancianos/Tractor/PuertaMX

Very pleased to have KenS line up and challenge the event (and support it as well). By the end of the race-----@ 102 degrees... ouch it was hot.

with great surprise, I had zero idea how I did.  I won the 50+ open class, and with great happiness I was lapped by OA winner Justin Morgan, so I did 4 laps to the Pros and others 5 laps.

@ 40 miles.

dang I did not need the IMS big tank that makes my bike feel like a tank.

That was the most fun I've had racing so far. Hot and dusty. Yes. Awesome course.

Hard riding with one arm. Tore a muscle in my left arm at work and fighting having surgery.

Thanks for posting this race Robert.

I'd ride down that way every week if there wasn't the 2 hour wait at the border. A lot easier park on US side and ride over and back. 5 minute wait that way

Awesome fish tacos X 3 on the way home

Did we mention that it was muchisimo calor!! very very fun loop, I can always do without the deep whoop sections....but ya gotta deal with the obstacles like everyone else. Well managed by a super nice promoter ZR Promotions'  Rene'

side note funny- over at the finish behind and over Kens left shoulder , I crossed the finish and dreaded going back to the truck (immediately behind Ken). so I dipped to the right and layed in the shade, some of my Mexican acquaintances were all there hanging out goofing off and gave me a nice super cold cerveza. It was heaven- but the entire crew was wondering what happened to me, I kinda thought about that but the beer and shade were priority!!! All good I came over and explained.

Also Note Muchas Grasias por DP Racing Team EZ -Up and Taco stand complimentary gourmet carnitas y cordero tacos with all the fixins served by a wonderful catering couple from Ensenada.

And of course congrats to D38 and local fast guys Justin Morgan, McCarthy,Schoonmaker,Statley,Williams  P1-5 OA

Race Stat. check Ken S, oldest guy (by a lot in most cases) in the open Nov class. finished event under very hot and dusty at times conditions,

was not last in class = win.

Plus comes away with mega bench racing stories of the entire adventure in International Off-Road Racing/riding=win-win
