V-Dog 4 Posted March 27, 2016 Im planning a ride for lake isabella April 9-10. I will be camped at the Tillie Creek campground near Wofford Heights Friday afternoon through Monday morning in my Green ford with a camper. The area around Lake Isabella is one of the most diverse riding areas in California. Wofford Heights is just a few miles and has motels, gas and food. I will have tracks available Friday or Saturday evening, you should pre purchase from Amazon; The Kern River Sierra Outdoor Recreational Topo Map (it is about $15.00) it shows the trails. There will be a few ride groups, so if you are solo please pick a partner to ride with. I would not suggest beginners for this ride.
Ptkatoomer 114 Posted March 27, 2016 I spent the day at Lake Isabella once on a back packing trip. It looked like you could maybe ride up to Kennedy Meadows from there?
