Reminder

Recommended Posts

I passed 3 oncoming riders going over Otay Mountain and gave them my best "black power" sign. The first rider was too startled to respond. The next 2 riders gave me the peace sign. Maybe we had some miscommunication or they lost a couple of buddies?

Street etiquette is to wave at other bikers. Dirt etiquette is to signal the number of riders following you. The last rider usually responds with a closed fist.

Im guilty of this.. I ride both.. I wave then realize I just signaled wrong. Or I peace sign (oops).

And when I put the power sign out there its normally to warn people of something major but they just ride by.

But ya I agree ....what bubbagums said..

Especially for the 4wheelers or mntbikesr..

Thanks for helping is keep the signals straight.

Peace... I mean power ...awwww. I mean first index finger pointing up...

Whatever .. you know what I mean. (Hand signal of a gun pointing to my head with me pulling the trigger)..

if there's one guy behind you how do you get them to not think you're flicking them off? I got attacked by some indians outside of Mesa Grande over that one after my buddy passed them and gave them the single finger wave...
