Rode to June Lake for breakfast this morning. The trails were like chocolate cake after the rain. Pretty clear this morning but the afternoon clouds are moving in. Forecast is for rain showers on and off through Thursday. Perfect!!!! Don't know if I will ride much on Thursday and Friday. Gotta balance the family obligations.

Uncle Champ landed at the Sherwin Creek Camp ground earlier today. You guys should hook up tomorrow, he's solo right now. Tall fellow, blue and yellow Husky, silver Aria helmet. I let him know you were at the Shady Rest.

FYI, If someone out there is on the fence about going please contact me before noon today. Strega had to bail so I'm currently staying solo at the Holiday Haus. I'm happy to carpool/room share if someone wants to jump in late.......the riding will be sweet, the Bluesapalooza is always a blast, and the Holiday Haus is a short walk from event.....which is why I stay there.......head out on a great ride, park the bike, shower, short hop/skip/jump to brews and blues....

If no one steps up by noon today I'm going to throw in with Christi for carpooling tomorrow morning and stay solo at the Holiday Haus......

UPDATE - it rained a bunch last night and this morning. Everything is wetted down nicely. Should be epic riding this weekend.

Going to ride tomorrow morning instead of Saturday. Planning on about a 60 - 70 mile loop. A mix of C'daddy tracks. Leaving around 8:00 from the New Shady Rest campground. All are welcome to join. Probably going to end near the Ski Resort so bring cash if you want to stop for a beer er uh refreshment.
