hoss314 0 Posted February 27, 2014 Hoss314 where did you see the sheep that's awesome ? The only place that I saw water was up by Banner. But I did not do the whole ride . HA....sorry bout it. That was a picture of a picture. We went to the visitor center / museum that is underground in Borrego Springs. It was hanging on the wall there along with these beauties on diaplay. Where did the big bike have the issues?
Tricky Ricky 0 Posted February 27, 2014 No, this was the ledges. The bike was stuck in the rut on the first ledge. Not quite enough ground clearance. I'm the one in the orange/blue. He made it through most of the other stuff without too much issue but he did have a get off coming down the dropoff: The sand after was really soft and he had trouble in the areas where he couldn't go fast enough to get up on plain. Got to give him lots of credit though for taking that big bike where it really didn't belong and making it out alive.
eddie 0 Posted February 28, 2014 Justin: I'm really glad I'm not screaming in pain.Eddie: Me too, or I'd have to hit you with a rock to shut you up. Kudos to the medical team, and thanks to Ken for helping me get the Justin and the bike loaded up in Ranchita. We ended up spending most of the time laughing, and, in the end, it was a pretty good day. Glad he's okay. 005 by tntmo2, on Flickr During section two, Justin came around a corner and ended up with his front wheel in a rut. The resulting crash caused his left knee to go kaput, so he was out for the weekend. Eddie was following us, he jumped right in and made phone calls, coordinated pick up of Justin and his bike and also gave him a ride to the hospital. Well done, beers are on us! Here's what dejection looks like. 007 by tntmo2, on Flickr
