KLXBEN 0 Posted January 8, 2013 So incredibly sad. That bike pic does say it all. He died doing a job he loved and with his boots on. Very important in my opinion. I always say I would hate to haunt someplce bare foot.
Fabless 0 Posted January 8, 2013 I arrived unforgivably late to HH but in time for a few photos. Beauty... and the Beast. The promised rain never arrived and instead we were treated to sunny, cool weather perfect for riding. An incongruously cheery welcome sign at the door. It was good to see familiar faces despite the occasion. -Fabless
KTMrad 508 Posted January 8, 2013 Good photos everyone ! It was a good way to celebrate Ben's life, I wish I had known him better....everything people had to say showed he was a great guy. I only met him a few times and never had a chance to really talk much with or get to know him. Nice turnout we had to show support from SDAR...thanks to all. It was really nice when Ben's sister came out after we lined the bikes up in the half circle out front, and she thanked us all for showing up....we said we were from his other family, and she said they were finding out how Ben was a part of many different families. That was a touching moment for me (as other parts of the service were also, especially hearing some of the stories about Ben). Deb, you said it all in your post. Remember everyone, if you want to help the family out, they are accepting donations to help Ben's daughters out in future years. I will send a donation from SDAR. Crawdaddy 96 Posted December 24, 2013 Miss ya buddy.......hard to believe it's been a year already.......this is how I'll always remember you......cracking us up at Bar 10.....
Strega 0 Posted December 24, 2013 I sure to miss shooting emails and texts back n forth having him crack me up on a regular basis and the times spent riding with him especially at Bar 10. I won't soon forget toasting up some fireball at the ranch with Ben and others. Bar 10 is more than just a Grand Canyon trip now, it's a dedication to Ben and his love of riding and friends.
