Schwinn, "Your Buddies" have so much to throw at any project, each project loses value in the normal sense to mere mortals. Really, all of us are required to sacrifice to reach any Moto Goal. When there is zero sacrifice, the reaching of the goal would seem to be compromised. Am I wrong?? I hope the guys still get a kick from their adventures in Moto. -
HBD FN, Nice to happen on a Saturday. Thinking there could be a delightful meal involved! Thanks for all your contributions.

Zina, SDAR us lucky to have such a good writer in our midst. You will find that the practice camps have helped a great deal, once you hit the road in earnest. -

Contractors working in the house! Hoping the install goes as scheduled Thursday. If it Slips to Friday, could cause me a problem. -

The repairs keep coming at the rear of this bike. At full compression the tire grabs the plate,,,and the rest is history! I have been looking at the offerings from Baja Designs and Siccass. $80 -$90. Red LED preferred but a small profile incandescent is good as well. Hoss has sourced a set-up out of Oceanside that may work. The key is small light and a small tab the plate can be attached. I have the rubber plate back plate. Let's see your ideas,,,PLEASE.

Thank goodness for small projects

Jeff, The temperatures during the summer are the limiting factor. Many head up to Big Bear for the summer. Big Bear Trail Riders may have Tracks.

"I do." My mistake, thought you pinched a couple. Realized the Tail Light was gone as I loaded. Tire must have grabbed the assembly and applied a touch of torque. Could be time to invest in one of those low profile installations. -

Spaugh, There has never been a claim from my quarter that my ramblings make sense. It comes from my core of confusion and doubt. -

The cobwebs on my bike are Piss... me off. Solution is a Morning ride out of Pine Valley up to Oriflamme Mountain via Deer Creek and Indian Peak to S-1. If inspired,,head down to Oriflamme Canyon and Rodriguez return. Arrive lot behind Majors Coffee House in Pine Valley ( I-8 ) Depart 0830 finish Return NLT 1300hrs. -

Dan, The bike doesn't matter. Anything short of a Goldwing will make the trip to S-1. Well, not really. An experienced rider on a KLR can do the few loose two tracks up to Indian Mountain. Oriflamme is somewhat more difficult, but really just bouncy with fabulous views of the Dez. If we decide to extend down to Mason Valley,,,That is somewhat more of and Adventure, but All Two Track. -
As we all know, San Diego is a swell location to live. As much as I would like to be riding, July / August is tough anywhere but Colorado or Montana. Difficult to sit it out but San Diego is not a bad place to wait out summer. Kanab, Ut Monday 97F Bishop, CA 97F Austin, NV 82F Salida, CO 89F San Diego, CA 81F
