  1. Yes, Thanks to all who showed. It was a great turnout overall. We could always have more SDAR folks. We had a few people start at the end of Ranger. Tom left the super tenere at the start of 11. We both then rode on the quad down trail 11 to the Ranger bypass. Only have one before. Tom and I have a pretty good routine down so we proceeded to get to work. Burgers and refreshments after. This was most of the trash collected from the trails. Eighty One people showed between the clubs. Rangers were very pleased by all the trail maintenance and trash collection. They even asked me if we wanted to try and open/ cut another trail. Lets keep up the good work. It is this type of efforts that will get us more trails. Thanks again!
  2. I have been asked to pass this on. SDORC will be having a maintenance clean up day at Corral Canyon on Oct 13 at 9:00 am Meeting at 4 Corners. Since we are due for a maintenance day why not do it in conjunction with them. Please chime in if you are interested in helping. Thank you EDIT: A few people will be camping at the upper campground, Bobcat Meadows Friday night. SDAR prez, ADV Bum...will be grillin' burgers for us around lunchtime. Hope to see many SDAR volunteers there !
  3. I am trying to be out there at Bobcat before sun down. I picked up my Adventure Pass today as well as an extra just in case. Just so you know, when you buy your adventure pass you can buy another for $5. I will bring extra ryobi batteries for the trimmers. I hope to see a good turn out. Thanks
  4. SPOT-X

I have been talking to spot about their plans and I have been comparing. To me it seems they are running very close in price. They both have the flex plans so the service can be shut down if not in use. I dont know if one device works better than the other. Spot does have an additional SARS insurance that seems good. Inreach does have the mini out. I am curious if the Spot X can communicate with the InReach?
  5. Actually looks like a good ride for big bike noobs to partake in. I need to take the 990 on this route. Glad everyone made it home.
  6. PLEASE STOP doing write ups on the original " Who's going riding?" Thread. It is a pain in the ass for me to divide it out and organize the threads so they dont become a confusing mess. Thank you!
  7. There has been talk in the past about having supporting member cards. Talking to many of the shops I feel we need to implement this for shop discounts. Business cards will be made and I will laminate them and send them out with Supporting Member donations. I have also been asked by members for SDAR business cards so that they can hand them out on rides to make it easier to pass along the site info. We have some now, but they are large. I am considering just doing business card size for ease of carrying. I would love some design ideas. I would like them to be different designs, but I can keep it really simple and do the oval logo. I am open as I would want it to be something people like vs the most basic thing I could do. You can post or send anything to me. Thank you
  8. Bike Stolen from Golden Hill

Please be on the lookout for this bike. Thank you
  9. You are welcome. Nice meeting the family. I think you get a free Chick Fil A sandwich with your ticket from yesterday. Wife and I going to try that out now.
  10. So I have a huge block of tickets for the Padres vs Giants Wed Sept 19 Toyota terrace. I would love to see a bunch of SDAR members going. Event volunteers, supporting members will have priority. Please let me know asap because I will not have these tickets go unused. Donations to SDAR are always appreciated. These tickets cannot be resold. Thank you
  11. Veys Powersports is a fantastic dealer and a great sponsor of SDAR. We will be doing much more with them in the future. Please support those who support us! When you go in please let them know you are coming from SDAR. I had just seen this and wanted to pass it on. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/mcd/d/2017-husqvarna-701-enduro/6634540114.html

  16. My family got new phones yesterday. While hanging out for hours one of the employees was telling me about a tracking app for snow skiing. Turns out they have one for the motorcycles as well. Thought I would share to see if you guys wanted to use it. https://app.eatsleepride.com/
  17. Bump I do some left. Still need to make arrangements on getting them out to those who are going.
  18. I have some of the 18v batteries if that is what your Ryobi model trimmer uses.
  19. We will be having a club meeting at Veys in El Cajon on Wed Sept 12 from 6-8. We have had lots of new members so please come on down and mingle with members and check out all the good products that Veys has to offer. We will have food and drinks. 690 N 2nd St, El Cajon, CA 92021
  20. Sorry, I mean a cordless hedge trimmer. Rangers do not want gas powered tools because of the fire danger.
  21. The fastest and best system is to have one person with a cordless trimmer along with someone with loppers go ahead on the trail while someone follows and clears the debris from the trail. I can deliver the loppers and trimmers on the quad to the locations with the quad. I am trying to find some cordless trimmers on CL. If people have some that we can use that would be great.
  22. We are getting close. I have a few tickets still available. For those who are going, lets make arrangements to get the tickets. Thank you
