    World Trials Championships - Kingman, AZ: 7/28 - 7/30

Anybody here? I'm with a friend, just got into town. Heading up tomorrow, but don't really know what to expect.
  2. I have a place in that area too. I've definitely wanted to check out some places I know about east of town on bikes and around Mohave Lake on bikes if you want to meet up out there sometime. Should also mention I've always wanted to do a Mohave road trip. I might be out in that area around that time too, can tell you what's good in that part of the world. I like the Laughlin River Lodge. 35 bucks out the door for a quiet room with a comfortable bed and hot showers, can't beat that. All the good restaurants in Laughlin though seem to be at the Gold Nugget.
  3. I thought I'd start a thread with some pictures from the rides that I go on sometimes, near to where I live. I usually gas up at the Pala Casino and basically pick a road I want to explore between there and the desert, as far south as Ramona or Escondido and as far north as Elsinore I think, I pick a mix of paved back roads and some of the dirt roads that exist around here and just go find places to go, sometimes with friends and sometimes by myself if I'm bored. I haven't run out of new places yet if you're looking for a place to ride.
  4. Hi, I thought I'd introduce myself here since it seems like a cool group. I'm kinda new to this, I got into bikes later in my life than a lot of people here I think, I'm 33 and have been riding for 2 years. However, I'm not new to offroading, I started exploring trails with 4 wheeled vehicles in high school. Born in Oceanside, California, I've lived in this area my whole life except for one year I spent living in Baja and have explored a lot of that region many years ago with a Jeep. I live in Bonsall now, off highway 76 real close to Palomar and a lot of fun riding. I ride a DRZ400S with some mods. I also own some property in Arizona, in Bullhead City and I have explored the BLM land around area quite a bit as well as Colorado where my father was living, around Ouray though I still have never done the Black Bear Pass. This picture was taken in Adelanto where a friend of mine grew up, near the airport that stores all the old aircraft, her family has property there, a few of my friends and I like to ride the roads and trails around there but I mostly ride around inland San Diego county. I haven't done a lot of long distance bike trips but I've driven all over this country, Mexico and parts of central america and I am pretty sure I have been to every small town west of Texas.
