Thanks everyone for your input, I think I'll look into legalizing the bike. I can't afford jail time or an impound of the bike. The only reason I posted it was I couldn't find anything on the net as to penaltys or fines. Figured someone might of had experience with it. Thanks again stay legal stay legit.

Ok I already know i'm going get grief for asking this question, so here I go. I have a 2013 WR250R and recently purchased a WR450F. What would the penalty, jail time, fines if I were to install a l lighting kit on the 450 and put my license plate from the 250 on it? Just to ride in off road areas not on the highways, Big Bear, Borrego, Kennedy. I know it wouldn't be insured and what not and no i'm not going to buy a KTM or a Honda. if you have any input it would be appreciated,

I'm leaving work at 1:30 pm Thursday. Plan on riding Friday, Saturday come home Sunday. I would consider myself an intermediate rider. I like to hit a little challenging stuff and also the easy flowy stuff. Camp out have a good time. I'm bringing the green sticker 450 so I have to stick to the trails. Bail Sunday early that drive sucks. That's about it, you can always IM if you have any other questions. It's always funner to ride with someone. I always bring tools, tubes, try not to be that guy lol. Coop

Just got off the phone with Black Rock, all the trails are open!! Camp grounds also, only Troy Meadows has water right now. I too am planning to get up there a few times this summer, keep me in your loop also.

Hey all, I am heading to Kennedy June 14th after work staying at Troy Meadows campground. Riding Friday, Saturday come Sunday. Going solo need to ride, picked up a 08 WR450F chomping at the bit to ride it. I am limited to the OHV trails for now hopefully that will change soon. If anyone is interested hit me up! Hi All, I have a question, I plan on heading down to Mikes in a month or so. I am planning on crossing at Tecate I will need a Visitors visa, where the heck is the office? I cant seem to find any information for it. Ive read where some people walk across get the Visa then walk back and then ride there bikes into Mexico. I know I don't need one if im down for less than 72 hours, but if you go further down than Ensenada your supposed to have one, just playing it safe. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hey guys is the trip still on our leader had to back out. I haven't ridden the area and am not familiar with the trails or location. But am very handy at trail side repairs and also consider myself a good rider and support person. Just throwing it out there ride on!
