Nice job, glad you finally wrote the rr.

So Snorre from Norway joined our bitchen club last year and has had some nice adventures on his XL 250. Now his bike is gone and I haven't had a chance to ride with him. I have offered to let him ride my TTR 250 so we can ride together. I was thinking of Otay fire roads either Thursday or Friday ( Thursday will be cooler),. If anyone else would like to join us, what day would be best? Might continue East a bit on 94, but will play that by ear. It will be a fun sight seeing tour to send Snorre off missing us, and our beautiful country! Who's in?

Thanks LB, I've received so much already from members of the " gang ", it was fun to give back a little. Plus we have a Scandinavia connection. The comradery in motorcyclist is pretty amazing!After lunch we headed East to Tecate to fill the tanks, just to be sure. About 55 miles so far on the trip. Wanted to find some more dirt which wasn't hard to do. We stopped on a little knoll to take some photos. Mexico in the back ground. That was my first time there also.We attracted some company fairly quickly. Nice guy, just wanted see what we were up to and where we were headed. I wasn't sure, thought about trying to get to the beginning of the PCT to show Snorre. The BP pointed out a trail that would cut the ridge line and head East, he said we could probably make it in 30 minutes.Close to an hour later and finding more dead ends than what I show on the map, we decided to head home. It looks like if we had kept going in a couple of areas we would have made it. A lot of fun though!I'm pretty sure the Northern spot on the map that we rode is where these photos where taken. We felt like we were being watched, what do you know!We slabbed it home on 94 into RSD and had a coffee, and then up Mount Helix to see the sights and watch the sunset. What a great day! I'm pretty sure we'll be spotting the Kug in Norway soon!

I have a 3.2 gal. Clark tank and a fan.

Rode Otay a couple times recently, played on a new trail a bit. Also today but you'll have to wait till tomorrow and read that in a new thread. But it was a successful Norwegian send off.

Here's the game plan, Snorre and I will leave my house around 10ish and head to Pio Pico on Otay Valley Rd. Leave PioPico ( 10:30 ish. Just let me know if you're joining and will wait ) and go to the towers on the top of the mountain. Go back to dog house and head East to Marron Valley Rd. No plans from there, maybe explore a little around that area, maybe head East on 94 and head out toward Tecate or campo? Maybe have some catfish, maybe maintain our fluid balances ( more than likely). Cheers
