  1. Sneeker - yeah, I know its last minute. I've been trying to start the ride for a week now, work keeps getting in the way. Next time... If I try your route, i'll report back (or will that take the fun out of it?)
  2. Hey Everyone Let me know if you are interested in hooking up for some riding mid week in the mammoth area. I'm driving up late on Sunday (the 17th) for Riding Monday - Friday and heading back Sat. My plan is to follow intermediate (with some advanced) routes in the 50-100mi range. I'm following routes from http://www.mammothmc.com First day will probably be out of big pine, i'll stage at Keough's hot springs so I can end the day in the pool. Plate will be required. Best Tim
  3. @Wierdrider Thanks for the heads up, not familiar w/ Culp/Jasper, do you know if they are going uphill or downhill? (its a lot more fun up) @heffenut I think its a bit much for a 1150GSA, no doubt there are guys that can do it but might be stressful. @bagstr, thanks very much. Actually, right before that at the intersection of Sin Nombre, I was going to head west on Vallecito Creek so it looks like I am ok, but really appreciate the heads up. And thanks for the welcome. Tim
  4. Anyone interested? Planning 100mi rides both sat and sun. Plate required. Sat: Thinking grapevine trail to Ranchita, over to fonts point, down to Ocotillo on Sun: Wind caves to mud caves to Goat Canyon Trestle (if doable) on Sun Open to options. Riding a KTM450, moderate pace.
