About Me
On a hiatus from riding to heal but... The son of an aerospace machinist and a government data entry clerk I grew up in a volatile environment that drastically changed at the young age of 11. Divorce adds many ripples to ones life, the first ripple pushing me from Poway to Julian. Not a bad ripple as it kept me physically active in the outdoors of the back country by fostering a love of biking, mountain biking that is. With that as the oldest male figure in the remote household and a dysfunctional family dynamic I became the family Mr. Fix-it, cars, bicycles, housing, clothing (Yes, I sew, so!?). I was the go-to mechanically inclined kid. Not everybody in my class could say they couldn't play because they had to re-roof the house, I was different. I'm still Mr. Fix-it, just older. The main difference is that it's other peoples toys that I'm repairing. Fast forward 20 years and I'm still fixing stuff, just actually paid in currency instead of housing and meals. I still love the outdoors, the peace and quiet mostly, and the stars in the sky... Which brings me to where I am today with my loving wife (Though moody) that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. Everything else is just "Stuff"...
