Hey everyone, I have been searching high and low for a route thru here. Just wanted some recent tracks that anyone might have, Perhaps in Gpx format too. I have come across old tracks but I question the accessibility due to the age. Thanks, Eric

Good thread indeed! Glad this helps. I was debating whether or not to post it up. I looked a few pages back and saw no mention of it. If anyone knows of any changes or closures or whatever, be sure to help us folks out and post it up. I would hate to be unprepared in Baja for any reason. Awesome post BTW!!!!

I was taking to my insurance guy and inquired about US auto coverage in Mexico for my DRZ and that's when he informed me of all this. The law is only about a year old, so it's still pretty new.

For all you people who don't know..... Mexico now requires mexican insurance for all vehicles before traveling down there. So looks like I'll be getting it from now on. Sorry if this is already wide-spread common knowledge now, but I live under a rock and am not up to date on much. Heck, I just found out what UBER was about 9 months ago. Lol

Sorry for the late RR, as this ride took place April 10. Anyways, as usual this was Baja-Bruce's Baja concoction of Blistering Baja fun with two noobs to join our group of Baja lovin Banditos!!! Meet the noobs..... Introducing, Dave... And Rod..... These brave men overcame all the negative Baja slander from the community, risked their lives for fun, Inorder to have the best ride experience ever.....BAJA. As usual we met at the boarder of tecate. Rod came from Costa Mesa and was on time!! This was not the case for Baja Bruce, for Bruce was LATE!

Very true. Craig is a champ but I will still help him. Lol Btw I tried to recover my gps tracks from last ride but could not. I got a different phone and they did not transfer over. I have multiple off-line maps of Baja on my current phone for reference. I'll bring a back up phone just in case. 12.5 hrs until I get up and head to Baja!!! See everyone soon!!!! Btw please don't "air-down" your tires for Baja. It's not good to get flats out there. I run about 18psi in both tires.

Oh yes, the klim nac pak. I'm looking at buying one. I'll have to check yours out. I have a Delorme messenger along with a fair amount of advanced first aid supplies so I'm hoping all should be well. I will be helping Craig out by bringing a flask of tequila and some limes to help celibrate each and every break we take This is going to be a great ride with great weather. I'm not sure if baja got any of the rain we did recently, which would help keep the dust down, but the weather is gonna be NIPPLE CLAMPING GREAT! And I CAN'T WAIT!!! WOOT WOOT. BTW I'll be in a 2014 white f150 with a black drz400 for those I haven't meet yet.
