  1. FLD (fatty liver disease) here as well, so says the ultrasound (but I can see my feet). I read that 10% of the population has it. Not sure if it is the latest "scare" to get people on some medication (I am not-I hate pills!) or how serious it really is. So far I have done nothing different (for good or bad). Good for you on the 11 pounds lost!

Screenshot is much better! I did not ride that with George; that was with a few of my usual suspects. It was shortly after George redid my suspension and was a great run to try things out. I rode sweep (usually do) and was able to goof off a bit in the back and got a pretty good feel for the new setup

Found it: We started at Angelus Oaks and parked in the Post Office parking lot (here is a map of the route: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/5843-5837+Mountain+Home+Creek+Rd,+Angelus+Oaks,+CA+92305/34.1743469,-116.7534462/34.2259227,-116.813279/34.2218435,-116.8744405/34.2095353,-116.9447594/34.1520604,-116.9743162/@34.1333917,-117.0223399,12.25z/data=!4m23!4m22!1m5!1m1!1s0x80db4d5fd837e165:0xb219439251f59c9!2m2!1d-116.9824397!2d34.1483014!1m5!3m4!1m2!1d-116.7685559!2d34.2156887!3s0x80db35342d9e47a7:0x66c18c514f1283c9!1m5!3m4!1m2!1d-116.8395511!2d34.2238682!3s0x80c4b51e45240173:0x4a9f3b0208286c8a!1m0!1m0!1m0!3e0?hl=en&utm_medium=s2email&shorturl=1) Mostly fire roads, but some rocky sections (or maybe sections with rocks).

Depending on where you stay, I did a ride up there a while back and posted the tracks on a thread from George from Suspension 101 on his gobblers (those things are freaking awesome!). If you can find that thread (I will try to find it and post the link also) it was a scenic ride and not difficult at all.

I would try and do a full off site backup while you can, Mimi. Save all (or as much) content as you possibly can so that you could host it somewhere else later if needed, Good luck!!

    Anyone using HaulBikes right now?

On my 5th move (30' enclosed trailer) to Utah now. While I am really tired of the drive (and the slow pace) I could not stomach the cost of a mover or the unknowns, so I chose to go this route. One last trip back tomorrow to return the trailer (borrowed from a buddy) and pick up my small utility trailer with my bikes and I am out of California for good. Not sure that there is a one size fits all answer, but I am liking Kelly's "fly and drive" idea for bikes!
  16. In the words of Doc Holliday/Val Kilmer/Tombstone: "I'm sure of it; I hate him"! Nobody should be that good!

questions about hitch mounted bike carrier?

Found a pic of my XR on my Joe Hauler (can't find any of the KTM, which is obviously lighter). I don't hardly notice it is back there (but then I haul a 9,000 pound trailer everyday so my opinion on weight may be a bit skewed). I do run air bags like Tom mentioned and they were an easy install (more for my big trailer weight than for this application).

    Moab - 2021

Were you guys listening to the Village People and doing YMCA in the first pic Great pics; love Moab!!
  19. Should be there after June 1st (Hurricane) for good. In addition to my 2 wheelers and 3 wheelers (I still have an '82 185S and an '83 ATC200) I just picked up a Can-Am X3 Turbo RR, so it looks like I will need to get active over there and look for petitions to sign I expect to be spending a lot of time getting dirty and this is not good news. Thank you for posting!
  20. ^^^^^^ X2-that was fun to read (and happy that your dirt nap was mostly uneventful!)!

  22. I don't know how you are getting off so "cheap" on your truck! My 2005 Chevy 2500 was almost $500 the last year I paid it (2019) in California. Stickered in Utah now and $72 a year with personalized plates
