Hahahaha, I'm working in Taiwan right now and will keep an eye out for these on the road! Tons of scooters out on the streets, mostly sporting open face helmets.

Argh! Could have used those when buying my Rally3 suit a couple months ago!

I took my G650GS up to those guys in July and had them install the Dakar height foam and carbon style cover. They did a great job! I think the only way to beat that seat would be to drop about $500 more for a full custom. The stock seat was a killer when doing more than 200 mile days, my ass would get scared to get back on the bike. I finally gave it a good test in November with an over night run to Phoenix. Although a little sore after 800 miles in 2 days, I wouldn't have hesitated to do the ride again the next day.

I too stalled at a stop light the other day and was surprised I didnt get run down my the neighborhood soccer moms. Some pics of the rebuild would be cool to see.

The thing is 20 years old and still going strong. Looks like they a using aluminum now since the new ones a only 66lbs and mine said 98lbs on the box when I recieved mine. If you want to try one out before ordering one, just let me know....

Ah, nice to know I helped out a members shop. I did buy my bike from the SD shop, but I do like to support other shops when I can and and have picked up a few small things from Escondido when they run specials.

I went up for this last night and picked up an oil change kit and some other chemicals. They had some good deals on some BMW gear, one guy picked up a couple of 2 piece suits for a smoking deal.

If you scored a coupon, can I piggy back on with a purchase? I will cover the sales tax on your gear purchase!??! The Rally 3 jacket I want will put it up the 30% discount range.

Nice! Sporting the old school House of Steel double double roll bar too. Crossover steering is a good option as well as many other items. One of the best things I did to my '80 was to replace the body mount bushings with Energy Suspension urethane bushing kit.
