Thinking about moving to Temecula, anyone out there?
zancat replied to RobATK94's topic in Open Discussion
I work in Temecula, live in Ramona. It's a long haul, but I am opposite the traffic. I thank my lucky stars everyday I am not on the other side of the freeway. Temecula has EVERYTHING you could ever need, but getting around is a major PITA. Good luck with your decision. Zancat -
When will it be available here? New plated bikes from Honda.
zancat replied to a topic in What Bike to Ride
I have heard dealers discuss something that may be related to this. There may be some rules around the volume of bikes imported has an effect on how stringent the DOT / EPA rules are to be met. Something to do with KTM being just under (small enough) a threshold. Zancat -

It is! Only a portion of it was closed in 2000 because of the original lawsuit filed by the CBD. It was consider a "temporary" closure. It took lawsuits filed by the ASA and other orginzations to fight it and ultimately get to this point. NOT all of the "temporary" closures were reopened. We gave up some ground to get to this point. I was heavily involved in the ASA several years ago, have been going to Glamis for almost 30 years, and am quite familiar with the details of this mess. 'zactly... Not opened, REopened. Finally got it back after millions of taxpayer $$$ spent to prove their ESA abuse. -

zancat replied to mtnmanseth's topic in Motorcycle Safety, Training & Riding Schools
Thanks to Mtnmanseth to putting this together! I had a good time, especially that table top jump. :-) Worked on lots of fundamental riding technique that will be great to practice and also will help me instruct my son properly. Z -

Damn it, I always miss the fun rides although 6 might have been too much for you Haha Gimme a couple weeks and some knee pads and we'll find out! ;-p Deal after all i wouldn't want your knees getting scratched up going on a ride ;-) Again, you mean….wouldn't want them scratched AGAIN. I think I need a chest protector too. If I ruin my knees, that's all I have left for redeeming qualities…….. I have a chest protector you can have if you want it. Maybe some boots too. Z -

Started my 11Yo when he was 7 on a PW80 on training wheels. He's got a KTM 65SX now and is about to advance out of that bike. Here a few pics from along the way...
