    Honda 90

Hey guys, I've been gone from the area more than less. I'm 66 and riding a T7 these days, anyway my older sister has a 1975 Trail 90 in near perfect condition for sale. Her hubby (Wildwood) was his screen name here has polished it, worked on the forks, carb etc. I found this bike in a shed and bought it for her, it had been sitting for a long time. Don't know how to put pic's on here but its red. Text me I'll try to forward the pictures she sent me. Don't know what she is asking for sure, she thought she was going to be a rider but ehhhh maybe not. Can bring anywhere between North Idaho and California at the end of the month. 619-840-4438 Charlie.
  2. My stepdad raced in the 60s maybe 50s on a 650 BSA or Triumph, not sure, I do remember him saying he went over the fence in the back stretch and him and a buddy made the bike into a gyrocopter. Crashed it too.

    Baja no pinch

I just used my Baja No Pinch for the first time, oh my! You need one, everyone needs one. It made me want to change tires that didn't need changed just for fun. By the way Poway Motorsports has Golden Fattys, cheaper than the internet or any where else I could find. Dangerous place for people like me with credit cards though.

    Better late than never!

Don't feel old, I did the math once, long ago when I worked and had spare time. Average age in SDAR was 46. Welcome. DR 350, solid. Cheers

    Fig Lagoon

You know if you go west from that pic near the border there's a canyon that keeps going west and up... but it's a secret so I can't discuss it further.

    Yamaha Super Tenere 700

Good Morning, I need a little real experience advice. I've spent a considerable amount of time around and on the Idaho BDR lately. Seriously considering selling the 990 and the 06 Husky 510 to purchase a midrange bike. Been seeing a few of these 700's and of course lots of all examples of everything else. Was going to try the test drive route but I never buy new anyway. Anybody done any head to head comparisons? Not pulling the trigger right away but circling the prey, preparing. Thank You for any and all comments. Uncle C. P.S. I'm 6'4" if one platform is better for tall and 240lbs more or less with luggage.
  16. Padu, I am not in So Cal much anymore. If your visitors are planning to go thru N. Idaho let me know. We have room for a visitor or two. Unc. C.
  17. Hey folks, I'm flying in to Charleston soon and wondered, anybody have any leads on two wheeler rental? We'll have a car but I was thinking cruisin around the beachy areas might be cool. Any leads on "don't miss stuff"? Thanks, Unc C.

Is that my old xray? Do what they say, hopefully no surgery. When I did it I thought my shifter was broken, Duh. Heal quick.

    Fallen riders post

    Good guys both. Sad.
  20. Cool pics, glad you get out so much.
  21. Hey ladies and gentlemen,, Hello from the great white north. We had a little snow and it was chilly for a couple of days, so what better time to ride. Suffice it to say that 22 degrees is to chilly to carry any speed for long. I got some pics though, imagine a frozen pond, also an ancient wizened apple tree full of frozen apples. I must admit a twinge of jealousy reading your warm riding reports, get out there, even for a short ride, you never know , you might have fun. In my case I was hoping to see deer, elk etc. Cheers and Merry Christmas. Uncle Champ
  22. Ive carried a small piece of chamois for the outside, and crack the visor
  23. 22 bullets work as fuses in old VWs, just for reference.
